The Urge to Creative Life

Patanjali encouraged us to practice “spiritual reading,” an art that extends beyond the studying of spiritual texts to include the subtle reading of life itself.  For too long we have been occupied with outer symbols, with that which is easily found and known. But this interest is exhausting itself and humanity is weary of the old ways and ready to look anew, beneath this world of outer seeming and in a new direction.  It is here that the group can aid, as a spiritual midwife, by breathing and scattering not its force—holding steady amidst the whirling forces.

We’re approaching the time when the door opens “wide into the temple of the hidden mystery.” We work with the power of thought to build and vitalize and draw forth that new world that is so close at hand. The raincloud of knowable things is precipitating, the Virgin mother is heavy with child, awaiting release within the Aquarian cycle, drawn forth by human need and the power of the united group life.  “That which is to be revealed lies all around us, within us,” the Tibetan tells us.  This inner world can be revealed by our willingness to do the requisite work, to build the structure for the new temple of humanity—a task that is greatly aided at this time by the incoming energies of Aquarius and the seventh ray, the ray of the divine builder, the Master Magician.  Our focus shifts to subjective realities, while at the same time holding firm to the intention to build those outer forms that will more fully reflect the incoming light.  Right now divinity is veiled because of the multiplicity of forms that serve to hide the light.  The new age will be revealed through simplicity of form and design that will let the inner essence emerge.

The urge to create stems from the capacity to sense the vision, the fleeting, deep impressions that so often elude us.  With time and dedication comes the increased ability to sustain the vibration, merge the inner and outer worlds and thus release the livingness for all to see.
