THE 22ND ANNUAL
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE Shamballa: Pre-Conference: April 26 - 28, 2008
The greatest (and least understood) Center within the energy system of our planet Earth is Shamballa “the Center Where the Will of God is Known.” From this Center, the great Lord of the World, Sanat Kumara, the Youth of Endless Summers, the Ancient of Days and the Most High Lord, the First Kumara (His names are so wondrous and so many!) carries forth His great sacrifice for our planetary globe and humanity. He, the greatest example of the Teaching Ray on our planet, is the true Redeemer of humanity and of all forms of life. What is the nature of Shamballa? Who can say with authenticity? Certainly not we mere mortals! Here is a wonderful quotation about Shamballa which should inspire us all:
Streaming forth from Shamballa are the three supreme energies which manifest for humanity as: Love Eternal, Light Supernal, Peaceful Silent Will. And this is precisely the name of our USR/SRI Conference for 2008 - Shamballa: Love Eternal, Light Supernal, Peaceful Silent Will Our planet is perhaps in the gravest crisis it has ever experienced. The fate of humanity is certainly hanging in the balances and, from all reports about our global environment, not many years remain in which humanity can take decisive action to save the planet ecologically. We can see that these ultra-critical issues will involve and do involve the Energy of Shamballa. We human beings need to know (as much as may be in our very limited power) the nature of the Divine Purpose for our planet and the nature of the Divine Plan which that Purpose inspires. And then we need to all in our power to carry out that purpose. This is a matter of grave importance, though we cannot entirely succeed. Nevertheless, we can learn to approach an understanding of the Divine Will with an earnestness never before achieved and from an intensified point of tension entirely new for each of us. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures! 2008 is a 10 year, a 1 year. The energy of the first ray will be potently available as first ray Pluto moves into first ray Capricorn. The United States will experience an election which may be decisive for America’s future role as a world power. The nuclear proliferation issue is squarely before the eyes of humanity. Will humanity destroy itself (which Master DK calls “a possibility which can be clearly visioned”) or will we, together, turn back from the precipice and, again together, prepare for the incoming of the Age of Aquarius which will lift humanity into the undreamt wonder of the Divine Plan. Disciples and students of spiritual occultism must face these issues with renewed realism, hope and spiritual strength. We will gather together from Saturday April 26th through Sunday May 4th (our first SRI/USR fully Taurus Conference, and we have held twenty-one Conferences) to approach together a deeper understanding and application of the Shamballa Energy. This one Conference will be held in Taurus (the astrological sign most associated with Shamballa). We invite all those who truly love their fellow human beings and who wish to learn to awaken the spiritual will in their lives, to join us for both the Pre-Conference, April 26th through April 29th, and the actual Conference, April 30th through May 4th. Together we will attempt to “stand with massed intent” (strengthened by the fact that the Conference will be held just one week after Wesak) and “in spiritual being” with a great willingness to do the Will of God (the Planetary Logos) as that Will may be revealed to us, both individually and in our many groups. Please join us for the 22nd Annual Conference of the Seven Ray Institute and University of the Seven Rays in Mesa Arizona from April 26th through May 4th. (Sunday, May 4, for the Closing Ceremony, please wear white or light-colored clothing.) Hopefully, together, will may come closer to a group understanding of the amazingly potent words anchored for us by the Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane when He touched the Will of God in an entirely new way: “Not my will, Father, but Thine be done.” Esoteric Astrology Pre-Conference Dear Friends of Esoteric Astrology, Every year the University of the Seven Rays and the Seven Ray Institute sponsor an Esoteric Astrology Pre-Conference Workshop. This will be our eighth such event and one of considerable importance. Together we will be searching for the ˜Signs of Shamballa” in our astrological charts. This does not mean that we imagine ourselves to be high initiates or that we think we are standing at the Portal of Shamballa. It simply means that for each of us, the Divine Will can and must be expressed in increasing measure through our lives of discipleship, and that our astrological chart can reveal the manner in which that great first ray potency can pour through us, inspiring, uplifting, destroying and resurrecting. Together and with the help of our international team of esoteric astrologers, we will search our charts for the inlets of the three beautiful Shamballa Energies: Love Eternal, Light Supernal, Peaceful Silent Will. The Energy of Shamballa is the Energy of Synthesis. How shall we learn to synthesize these three potencies? How shall we understand Synthesis astrologically? How shall we (using our astrological and rayological potentials) learn to enter into that degree of Synthesis which is possible for us individually and in group formation? How shall we raise the vibration of our astro-rayological potentials to the highest degree possible so that the great First Ray may intelligently, lovingly and synthetically pour through our energy equipment? These will be some of the questions we will answer, and together, we will search for the answers. Please join us at the annual USR/SRI Esoteric Astrological Pre-Conference, The Astrological Impress of Shamballa, from Saturday, April 26th through Monday, April 28th, and please plan to attend 28 Rules Day on the next day, April 29th. We trust that you are ready, willing and able to enter together into the energies of the Divine Will. We heartily invite you and trust you will do all you can to be with us. In Light, Love and Power, Ceremonial Workshop Pre-Conference “In the Beginning was the Word” The great Sevenfold Sound which creates all worlds emanates from the monadic plane within Shamballa. There Vishnu, the Great Singer, sings the worlds into existence. In this workshop we will focus on the Magic of the Sacred Word within the Sacred Sound. All Mantra, all Words of Power, all Sacred Invocations and even our patterns of speech have their origin in the Sacred Sound and the Sacred Word. During our work together, we will turn our attention to the sanctification of words and speech and the building power of the Word in manifestation. The White Magician works with the deva kingdom and, therefore, it is important for us to ponder together on the Language of the Angels (to come into humanity’s possession as the centuries pass). Together we will sound some of the world's most ancient and venerable mantrams, seeking to experience their power and quality. We will attempt to experience the invocative power of the Sacred Word in our lives and to intuit something of the great synthetic presence of the Holy Sound, as it peals forth from high spiritual levels and differentiates itself into a descending cascade of ever more specific mantrams. Through meditation, geometrical movement and the building and consecration of our individual altars we will work to enter the sacred space of the Sacred Word which was “at the Beginning.” Please join us for the Pre-Conference Ceremonial Workshop: “In the Beginning was the Word”: The Magic of Shamballa’s Sevenfold Sound at the twenty-second annual Seven Ray Institute/University of the Seven Rays International Conference, April 26th – 28th, Saturday through Monday.
