Donna is the founder and spiritual director of Spirit Fire Meditative Retreat Center in Leyden, MA. She is an author and has been a teacher of the ways of consciousness for over 20 years. Donna has created teaching materials, curricula, and student workbooks for the University of the Seven Rays, USA, the Centre for Esoteric Studies, Canada, and Spirit Fire which teaches classes in multiple locations in the USA. She has extensive knowledge in astrology, esoteric psychology, and the energy sciences, such as chakras, subtle bodies, kundalini, etc. In addition, she has a refined understanding of Raja and Agni Yogas, Mahayana and Tantric Buddhist practices and teachings, and she is a profound teacher of meditation. Donna is also a shaman and teaches the Native Path.

In her 20 years of public speaking and teaching, Donna has always been spontaneous in her subject matter, drawing upon the wealth of her experience and wisdom to meet the needs of her audience or student body.

Donna is past vice-president of the Theosophical Society in Boston, MA. Her first book, Magic in the World, the Seven Laws of the Soul, was published in 2002. Astrology Illumined, her second, co-written with Sara Traub, is in process of publication. Her work has also been published in The Beacon Magazine, an international magazine focusing on esoteric teachings.
