Incarnation, Magic, and Manifestation In this workshop, we will explore manifestation as a process of incarnation rather than simply of visualization, positive thinking, and attraction. We will use David Spangler's newly published Manifestation Deck, a set of fifty-five cards that help a person set up and follow through with a manifestation project, as a guide to a simple technique of working with manifestation. We will also explore briefly a new vision of magic based on incarnation and the esoteric principles behind it. This magical process is one that can be used in our own lives or in the life of Humanity itself.

Reclaiming Humanity: The first step in building the Temple of Humanity is to accept and honor our humanity itself. Over forty years of spiritual teaching, I have found a pervasive sense of shame, guilt, and rejection among many spiritual seekers and workers around their being part of humanity. Given the condition of the world, I can understand why these feelings exist. But Humanity is a sacred idea. Being human is a privilege, not a detriment. It is this sense of honor and spirit in being human that we need to reclaim. We cannot build a Temple to what we may secretly despise in ourselves. In my lecture, I wish to remind us of the sacredness of the great Being of Whom we are a part and of the sacredness in our human identities, of which It is a part.

David Spangler is a writer and spiritual teacher. His public work began in 1964 and from 1970 to 1973 he was a co-director of the Findhorn Foundation community in northern Scotland. His books include The Call; Parent as Mystic, Mystic as Parent; Blessing: the Art and the Practice; the Story Tree; and Manifestation: Shaping the World you Love. He currently teaches both short- and long-term classes online for the Lorian Association as well as continuing his writing.
